Linda Louise Kelsey 74, passed away peacefully very early January 7th at the Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Born December 15th, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to her parents Violet and Rene Jaggi, now both deceased. She graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1967. Afterwards, she married George Dammer in 1971, and they had a son, Mark, who was born in April 1975. George and Linda were divorced in 1983. In 1992 she met Paul Kelsey and later married him on May 28th, 1995.
She is survived by her son Mark Dammer, and his son, Marshall; husband Paul Kelsey; sisters Marci Breite and husband, Bob Breite; Michelle Jaggi and boyfriend, Vernon “Sunny” Bough; brothers Bill Jaggi and wife, Sue; John Jaggi; brother in-law John Kelsey and wife, Christine; sister in-law Carolyn Smith and husband, Greg.
She started her career working for Digital Equipment corporation, located in Kansas City MO, where she was trained in project management and obtained a Project Manager Certification. She traveled to various projects around the central part of the United States in the course of her work. One of those projects took her to Indianapolis, Indiana where she met her current husband. While in Indiana, she managed a network installation for the City of Indianapolis. After completing that project she was offered a job by the City and she took it and worked there for several years. Later she was offered and took a project management position at Community Hospitals of Indiana where she retired in 2012. While living in Indiana the past 30 years she was an active member of the United Methodist Church.
Her main interest was quilting, but she also enjoyed gardening, and travel.
A memorial service will be held at:
First Methodist Church of Martinsville, 3150 E Myra Lane, Martinsville, IN 46151 on Saturday, February 4, 2023. The service will start at 12:00pm. Preceding the service there will be photographs of Linda’s life along with a slideshow starting at 11:30am.
