Corporal Ken Erwin Keith, 61, passed away with his loved ones at his side at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center on Thursday, August 8th, 2024.Ken was born on February 18th, 1963, in Beech Grove, Indiana. He lived on the south side of Indianapolis his whole life. Ken graduated from Southport High School in 1981. He then served in USMC from 1981 to 1986 with an honorable discharge. Ken was dedicated and hard-working as a service technician for PepsiCo for 35 years. He retired this Past March and spent his last months with his family. In his pastime, Ken loved to learn about history, homesteading, and restoring Farmall tractors. Ken loved working in the garden as well as building and working projects with his hands. Whether it was painting model railroads, or building a chicken coop, he was always up for the challenge. His patience, skills and being resourceful was always helpful and appreciated with his coworkers, friends and family.Ken has left behind his two daughters, Amanda Keith (40) and her family, and Ashley Keith (34) and her son; his older sister, brother and their younger brother. Ken has joined his loving wife of 25 years; as well had his mother and father.A Gathering will take place Sunday, September 22 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel with Military Rites starting at 4:00pm.
