Judith Ann Burckle, 81, of Solsberry passed away peacefully Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Stonecroft Health Center after a long battle with dementia.
Judy was born March 17, 1942, in Kenton, OH to the late Harry and Mildred Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joe Carter, and his wife Marge. She is survived by her husband Al, daughter Hillary Case, son-in-law Kevin Clendenien, three nephews, Mike, Jon and Kevin Carter, and her dear friend Cathy Hiatt.
Judy was an artist who worked in various media, marketing her work initially out of her shop in Nashville, IN and later at both retail and wholesale art fairs throughout the Eastern U.S. Her art, often whimsical, brought joy to many people.
Judy also enjoyed the art of others, reading mystery novels, spending time with her beloved pets, and travelling with family.
Per Judy’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held at a later date.
