James “Jimbo” McElfresh

Age 68, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 14th.

He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He loved traveling to the beach, camping, boating, classic rock, and spending time with his family.

He was born on June 8, 1955 to Charles and Bertha Mae McElfresh in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mickey, and his parents. He is survived by his three children; Shannon, Joe, and Heather. Nine grandchildren; Mackenzie (Tom), Joseph (Holly), Shianne, Savanna, Isaac (Sierra), Jared, Zackary, Gabe, and Kieran. Six great grandchildren; Mayci, Lucy, Henry, Chloe, Penleope, and Miles. And three siblings; Jane, Maggie (Danny), and Kevin.

Entombment will be scheduled at a later date with immediate family.

Tell my momma I love and miss her like crazy and daddy u was #1 best friend we talked alot about mom we cried together etc.. he even told me that I have alot of friends he liked alot but he did. but daddy and momma its so hard without both.. rih both of you can't wait to see u again soon
