Dennis Allen Denson

Dennis Allen Denson, 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was born March 27, 1951, and passed away May 16, 2022. He was survived by his children; son, Michael Denson (Mary) and daughter, Kelly Wilcox. He is also survived by sisters, Theresa Mitchell and Ruth Vandevanter; and brother, Sheridan Denson.

Dennis retired from General Motors. He was a huge sports fan who loved IU basketball and Colts football. Dennis was a proud grandfather of 9.

Dennis was preceded in death by father, John Denson; mother, Theresa Denson; sisters, Debbie and Sarah; brothers, Donald, Johnny, Jimmy, and Ronald Denson.

I will miss you uncle Dennis. I too remember the times going and spending the night with him and aunt Freda. Going to the drive in was always fun uncle Dennis always made it fun. He always had a way to make you laugh. I can remember he had an old 36 Chevy and he would take me a ride in it when we lived with grandma over on Ketchum street. Mike and Kelley I’m so sorry for your loss. Our family seems to be getting smaller and smaller as time goes on. I love y’all and I love you uncle Dennis. Tell everyone we love love ❤️ them when you see them.

I have fond memories of spending the night with you & Freida when I was young. Your laughter was infectious and made people smile. I will miss you Uncle Dennis. I am very sad and sorry for your loss Mike and Kelly. You both are in my prayers. RIP Uncle Dennis. I love you. Cindy Blankenship
