Cynthia Huser, 66, of Fishers, IN, passed away February 25, 2023.

Cindy was born Cynthia Jean Lakin, AKA Cindy “Louie”, 1/2/1957, to Roy and Margaret Lois Lakin (Dyke). She had two brothers, Jeffery “Louie” and Michael “Louie” and a sister, Linda “Louie.”

Cindy went to North Central High School, class of 1975, where she unwittingly met her husband-to-be. She went on to graduate from Ball State with an associate degree in secretarial science.

Onward, she worked at Dow Chemical. A few years later she met her “favorite mistake,” Pat Huser. They dated for two an ½ weeks and got engaged. Six months later, they were married, which would last 42 ½ years until her passing. They had three children together (that they knew of), Mike, Erin, and Brian.

Cindy had a sparkle in her eyes that was the envy of diamonds. She immensely enjoyed music and was very adept with guitar and piano. She also had the singing voice of an angel.

She is survived by her husband, Pat, children Mike, Erin (Copeland) and Brian. In addition, the love of her life, granddaughter, Avery. Additionally, her sister, Linda and brother, Mike. She has been predeceased by her parents and Jeffery Lakin.

The world won’t be the same without her.

So sorry for her loss. I remember Cynthia from North Central, though never knew her well. I wish I had. She is as beautiful then as now. I’ll put all of you on my prayers at this difficult time.
