Leonard E. Park, a long time Putnam County resident, passed away on January 5, 2020. Leonard was born October 2, 1954 to Lilburn and Martha Park.
He enlisted in the Army in 1973 and served until 1976. Afterwards he worked for TDS Telecom, where he did trouble shooting and installations. After working for TDS he began working for the Carpenter’s Union as a carpenter.
Leonard is preceded in death by his mother Martha (Gorham) Park, who passed away December 10, 2015, and survived by his father Lilburn (Kathy) Park of Lake View, AR; siblings, Larry Park of Thornton, IN, Rose Park of Medford, WI, Lester (Mia) Park of Abbotsford, WI, Julia (Jim) Poncek, Tomahawk, WI, Christopher Park of Sarasota, FL, Sandra Spradling of Frankfort, IN, and step sister, Kay Johnson of Madison, WI.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday February 8th at the New Ross Christian Church in New Ross, IN. Pastor Ivan Brown will be officiating.
