1946-2019

Patty Murphy, age 73, of Noblesville, passed away October 16, 2019. She was born March 10, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN.

She graduated from North Central High School and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

She is survived by her four fabulous daughters, Lisa Lowe of Fishers, Linda Kitterman of Bloomington, IL, Trisha (Aaron) Hogland of Sycamore, IL and Susan Murphy of Virginia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Carlie Upchurch, Kayla (Nick) Hotze, Samantha (Nick) Fleenor, Max (Shelby) Lowe, Alexa Gilbert, Wesley and Calvin Hogland, two great-grandsons Ellis Hotze and Easton Lowe and two on the way, Imre Hotze, and Baby Fleenor. She is also survived by her brother, James (Kimberly) Hash and sister, Pamela Hash along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patty provided childcare for many years, worked in management for CellularOne, and was most recently a Certified Pharmacy Tech for CVS prior to retiring. She deeply loved her family and friends and will be profoundly missed. She was an avid photographer, enjoyed nature and loved reading.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul R. and Helen E. (Barkhimer) Hash. The family would like to sincerely thank the St. Vincent hospital medical team and the care they provided.

Happy birthday, missing you 3/10/23

Pam I am so sorry to hear about Patty. We used to e-mail back and forth but somehow lost contact . I lost my husbabd five years ago and lost most of my eyesight six weeks later . Since then I can't e-mail very well . Please forgive me for not staying in touch . I never met Pattys daughters but she talked about them often. She really loved her family. I'm so sorry to hear about Patty she has been such a joy when she'd get a chance to visit or come to our family reunions. She was one of the few people that gave me love and support when my Mom passed in 2014, and we stayed in touch until Helen passed and things got quieter, which I understood. Thank God for Facebook and the ability to stay connected. She was a true rock with such a loving heart. She will be greatly missed. Much Love to her family!

I am so sorry to see this. I worked at Cellular One for many years with your mom. I also saw her through the years when I picked up my medicine at CVS. She was such a jewel, my heart hurts for you.
