Stanley Bruce Mathis

July 29, 1956 - April 22, 2019

Stanley Bruce Mathis, 62, of Indianapolis passed away at his home on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Stan was a loving husband, son, brother, father and grandfather. He was a floor covering installer at Superior Carpet Installers, Inc. and a member of the IKORCC Floor Covering Union for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Mathis. Stan is survived by his wife Casandra Lane; two children, Danielle Wieland (Christopher) and Anthony Mathis (Summer); two grandchildren, Jayna Wieland and Anthony Mathis; his mother, Juanita Mathis; and three brothers, Russell Mathis (Beverly), Darrell Mathis (Patsy) and Robert Mathis (Kurt Havely).

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Stand Up To Cancer (standuptocancer.org). Final arrangements are entrusted to Cremation Society of Indiana. There will be a celebration of Stan’s life on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Mashcraft Brewing located at 1140 North State Road 135, Greenwood, IN from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.
