Timothy Wayne Lagle, 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 20th, 2022. He was born May 19th, 1954, in Indianapolis to Wallace and Nellie (Whitlock) Lagle, into a family of twelve.
Tim loved to live and work anywhere the fishing was good; from the shipyards in Mississippi and Dauphin Island, Alabama, to the coast of Savannah, hanging sheetrock to support his fishing habit, or the local Walmart in Linton to be close to the coal mines in the Sullivan State Forest.
He enjoyed mushroom hunting as well as searching for ginseng, and whether he was searching the fields for arrowheads or dredging for gold, he made it a point to enjoy all the natural gifts God had provided for him.
Tim is survived by his son: Damon; daughter: Andrea; sisters: Ruthie, Joy, Louann, and Jan; brothers: Woody, and Bruce; grandchildren: Tyler, Kyle, Lucas, Jacob, Dylan, and Cody, and great-grandchildren: Draven, Deziray, Tristan, and Diezel. He is preceded in death by his sons: Robert Lee, Russell Edward, and daughters: Tammy and Andrea; brothers: Randy, Allen, Ed Lee, and Tom, and sister: Reeda.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Cremation Society of Indiana, 4115 Shelby Street. Per Tim’s final wishes, his ashes will be spread at the places and with the people that he loved.
