Beverly Ann Partington, 86, of Indianapolis, died January 1, 2021 of complications due to Covid 19 at The Wyndmoor of Castleton. Beverly was born to Violet and William Mitchell on May 25, 1934 in Kankakee, Illinois, where she grew up and graduated from Kankakee High School. She married her beloved husband, James Robert Partington, on October 19, 1952 in Kankakee, Illinois. They were married for 63 years, living initially in Warsaw, Indiana, and then moving to Carmel, Indiana for 30 years, where they raised their two sons. In retirement, they moved to Willeston, Florida until they moved back to Indianapolis, Indiana, at the end of their lives.
Beverly enjoyed drawing and painting ceramics. She also loved teaching bowling to her two sons and was an instructor to hundreds of other kids in Warsaw, Indiana. She particularly liked playing golf with her patient husband, and together they were huge fans of Indiana University basketball. Beverly belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and she also was a member of the Red Hat Society in Williston.
Beverly is survived by her two sons Michael James Partington (Soyong) and Patrick William Partington (Marci Fort) and seven grandchildren: Brown Partington (Sherree), Brose Partington (Linda), Drinan George (Vinod), Griffing Partington (Candise), Hossley Kallassy (Kevin) Nicholas Partington (Angelique), and Keegan Partington (Holly). She has 13 great grandchildren.
Beverly’s husband, James Robert Partington, and two sisters, Doreen Ingalls and Donna Cardosi, predeceased her.
