Thomas Kwak, Sr.

March 30, 1957 - November 30, 2020

Thomas A. Kwak, Sr. was born on March 30th, 1957 and passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on November 30th, 2020.

Growing up, he was a member of the Rod Twisters Club, Chicago IL. His love for motorcycles and old cars was only surpassed by his love for his kids.

In his adult years, he loved visiting his grand kids in the UP of Michigan. While home, he loved being outdoors with his friends and family. He would take his family on long canoe rides and fish. He loved offroading and challenging Fords to races in the 1991 Dodge Ram. Tom was proud of his land and would walk his beloved dog around it every day.

Thomas is survived by his children, Thomas Kwak, Jr. of Escanaba, Kristin (James) Curtice of Rapid River, Shannon Kwak of Crown Point, Dylan Kwak of Bloomington; step-daughter, Maggie Boblie, of Escanaba; brother, Ron (Colleen) Kwak; mother to Shannon and Dylan, Roseann Kwak; three grandchildren, Madison, Charlotte, and Vincent; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents, Joe and Charlotte Kwak; and brothers, Robert and Joe Kwak.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Thomas, Sr. in the early Summer 2021.
