Woodrow Stines

July 30, 1955 - September 24, 2020

Woodrow J. Stines, 65, from Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on September 24, 2020. He was born on July 30th in Inman, Virginia to Daniel and Delores (Duff) Stines. He passed away at home after losing his battle with MDS Cancer. He was a mechanic his entire life and proudly owned Woody’s Auto Parts and several other businesses. In his spare time, you would find him bowling, playing horseshoes or pool. He was a racing fan and driver, who won many races at the Indianapolis Speedrome (Kitley, as he called it) He will be remembered for his caring, generous heart and his one of a kind personality, that could always make you smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eva. Survivors include his daughters: Angela (Shane) and April (Tony), his brother: Stafford (Christina), his grandchildren: Alesia, Woody, Destiny, DJ, and Daniel.

No funeral services will be held, as per Woody’s wishes. He would like to spend his eternity among the mountains, so his ashes will be spread at a later date.

I’m so sorry to hear. I knew Woody back in the day 1980s. Always like him. I know he will be missed by many.
