Sophie Rose Robison, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 1:17p.m. Sophie was born on November 8, 1951 to the late Donald and Sofia Smith.

She attended North Central High School and went on to become an orderly at a nursing home and a cook. Sophie loved life and to have fun. She collected bears, watched monster movies, and loved spending time with her many friends and family members.

Sophie is preceded in death by her parents, Donald V. Smith and Sofia T. Smith; brother, Charles (Rebecca) Smith; sister-in-law, Sandra Smith; and granddaughter, Casey Dawn Archer.

Her surviving family include her former husband, Perry “Robby” Robison; brothers, Donald Smith and Arnold (Deloris “Sue”) Smith; two daughters, Donna (Jack “Lucky”) Archer and Crystal (Joseph) Robison-Hamm; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews — all of whom she loved dearly.

We will be celebrating Sophie’s life privately in the near future.

Aunt (DODO) Sophie, was one of the most caring and genuine people I have ever known. She always had a smile on her face. She came to many of our events growing up from sports to celebrations. She was always so helpful to my Papaw and Mamaw and she will forever be loved and miss so much. We love and miss you Aunt DODO
