Linda Cherry, 74, passed away July 12, 2023.

She was born in Greenville, TN April 3, 1949 to the late, Manley Cutshall and Viola (Haney) Cutshall. She moved with her family at age 5 to Rochester, PA where she attended school, graduating from Rochester High School. After high school she moved to Indianapolis where she has lived since.

Linda loved to sew, crochet, knit and quilt and won many ribbons at the Indiana State Fair. There was nothing she could not do with a needle and was always making gifts for her family and friends. She loved to go to garage sales, flea markets, but more than anything else spending time or having dinner with family and friends. She was always happy, laughing, and smiling. No one would know if she was in a bad mood. Linda was loved by everyone who ever spent time with her.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, David Cherry; sons, Gregory Hartsock (Danielle) of Pennsylvania and Michael Hartsock of Indianapolis; stepson, Michael Cherry (Zondra); stepdaughter Dianna Chambers (Robert); grandsons, Brett Hartsock and Ashton Hartsock; step granddaughters, Jillian Chambers and Victoria Chambers; brothers & sisters-in-law, Bud Cutshall (Beth) and Jim Cutshall (Debbie); sisters, Brenda Cutshall and Joyce Krut (Bryan); and many nieces, nephews; great Niece; several great Nephews; an uncle; aunts; and numerous cousins.

For the last 21+ years, she has been my world. She walked in my tax office and I fell in love with her. I loved her more everyday. She made me a better person and I was so blessed to have her in my life. I will always love her and cherish the time I had with her. Thank you, Linda.

David my heart goes out to you You and Linda were 2 peas in a pod. I remember the night You and Linda welcomed Jeff and I into your home on one of our many trips and you showed us your hugh TV that took up the Whole Wall.! Oh how we Laughed all night!!. I will never forget what a great time we had. Linda was the kindest and most welcoming person I ever met. A gentle soul and so glad to have been part of her life. Love and prayers dear friend.
