Karol and I were childhood friends from Lourdes. We did all the fun things kids of the 50s did … we went horseback riding, ice skating, we were campers and counselors together at Rancho Framasa in Brown County, and were grade school cheerleaders together. We went on to high school, double dated, and enjoyed all the school activities, we stayed in touch thru the years of raising kids, and then she and Jac began coming to the area in Florida where I lived, so we were able to reconnect there, as well as in Indiana where I was in summer and Fall. We shared so many fun times and memories and I will miss her.

My sincere condolences to the Bartlett family for the loss of such an incredible family member! I have many memories of Karol and have always thought of her as my second mom when Mike and I hung out on a daily basis. Her passion, love, kindness, infectious laugh and care for her family are just a few things that I’ll always cherish! I remember when she was going to school and then landed her job at the Children’s Museum; I was so very proud of her and was amazed at how she accomplished this and yet, didn’t miss a beat with her family! You’re truly one of a kind, Karol Bartlett!! All my love to the entire family - Kent

So sorry for your loss. I thought she was very pretty. I graduated in 63, 2 years after her and was in band at the same time as her. Again, so sorry for your loss.

Karol was always very pleasant and kind to me and invited me to do things with your family. At the time I was really shy, and she always made me feel comfortable. I remember her always taking classes and thinking she was so extremely smart. I’m so sorry for your loss and know she will be missed tremendously.
