Gerald Lee Burgess passed away on February 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 5, 1949, to Floyd and Shirley Burgess.

Gerald was an old car enthusiast, enjoyed collecting rare coins, and watching old western movies but above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his loving wife of 40 years as that is what meant the most to him.

Gerald never met a stranger and will be remembered by his larger-than-life personality and huge loving heart. He is survived by his wife, Carol, and his children: Kevin, Jason (Johnna), Jeff (Rhonda), Joe, Patricia; his little sister, Michelle, and his best four-legged friend, Thor.

Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Wilson, and grandmother, Mary Wilson. The Cremation Society of Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
