Marion Hope Gugliuzzi, 91 years old, born in Roselle Park, New Jersey passed away on December 30, 2020 from lung cancer at the home of her son Richard and wife Kelley in Indianapolis, IN. She adored her son Richard and he was by her side at the very end. Marion is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Patrick Gugliuzzi; survived by her son Richard Salvatore Gugliuzzi (her best friend) Richard’s wife Kelley and grandson Richard S Gugliuzzi II and “Leonard” her adorable pup.
Previously from moving back to Indianapolis in September, Marion lived in West Palm Beach, Florida with her beloved husband Patrick Gugliuzzi for the past 30 years.
Marion worked in New Jersey beginning in 1957 at Twin County Grocers as an accounts payable supervisor and was promoted to office manager for many years. Moved on to Sears & Company as office manger until she retired and moved to Florida with her husband.
Marion was a beautiful vocalist and sang with many Big Band’s in her day. She was a forward- positive thinker and received many certificates for concept therapy and massage therapy. She was an excellent artist, painting many pictures/illustrations of sceneries and dress design. She enjoyed collecting dolls and playing the piano. She loved music and was the rock of our family.
She is so loved and will be missed by so many. God Speed Mom, you will forever be remembered in love. Since we are in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, there are no plans at this time for an in-person service. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a contribution to The American Cancer Society.
