Larry Joe Bennett

June 26, 1939 - December 13, 2020

He attended Lebanon High School, then joined the United States Marine Corps. Larry also worked with his father in their excavating company.

On October 22, 1960, he married Sandra “Sandy” Bennett. Larry loved camping at Lake Freeman and telling his kids and grandkids stories of his life growing up.

Larry is survived by his son, Rick (Tina) Bennett; daughter, Kim (Chris) Dickinson; grandchildren, Riley Bennett, Sarah Grubbs, Kelcey Dobbins, Brandon Dickinson, and Brett Dickinson; and great-grandchildren, Axel Grubbs, Vincent Grubbs, Raylan Bennett, Hailey Owens, Aubree Barringer, Shaelynn Dickinson, Kyrah Dickinson, and Emerick Dickinson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy, and daughter, Teresa Dobbins.

There are no funeral services planned.

I have great memories as a child of his laughter. Always smiling. Great memories with you all during Fourth of July and other visits to your house on Lebanon Street. He will be missed, but not forgotten
