Sherrye Walters

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Sherrye Lynn Walters.

Born on January 23, 1973 and passing on June 18, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mariam Hammons and her father, David Pittman, Sr. Sherrye had several hobbies including shopping especially for Halloween decorations. She made an impact on everyone she crossed paths with and was always so full of love. She was light and bubbly, bringing everyone together.

Sherrye is deeply mourned by her husband, James Walters; children, Jimmy (Bobo) Roberts, Jr., Brenda Roberts, Trishtan Roberts, Karen; step-son, James Walters V; son-in-law, Michael Smith; six beautiful grandchildren, Jon & Kaydin Roberts, Michael Maelynn, Zane Smith, and Callian Price ;brother, David (Shawna) Pittman, Jr.; step-mother, Sandy Pittman; and several step siblings.
