Raychael Catherine Davis, 43, of Connersville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 30, 2025, at Reid Hospice Care.
She was born December 29, 1981, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Floyd McDaniel and Karren Firsich. A longtime resident of Connersville, Raychael graduated from Connersville High School in 2000.
During her senior year, she enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served from 1999 to 2007. She cherished her service family, especially her dear friend Arthur.
Raychael was passionate about the arts and enjoyed creating flower arrangements at Clark’s Flower Shop. Above all, her greatest joy was caring for her family. She was an avid reader, cook, and movie-goer.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nyssa Campos of Greensburg, IN; her father, Floyd McDaniel of Buffalo; her bonus dad, Charles Firsich of Connersville, IN; and her grandparents, Raymond and Martha Catherine Pazzaglia of Buffalo.
Survivors include her fiancé, Justin Jenkins of Connersville, IN; her daughter, Arianna Campos of Osgood, IN; and her mother, Karren Firsich (Ron Baldwin) of Buffalo. She is also survived by her sisters, Martha House (Dustin Shepherd) of Connersville and Dakota Firsich (Derek Messer) of Centerville, IN; her bonus sister, Mary Higgs of Connersville; her bonus niece and nephew, Emmalin Higgs and Brayden Ryles of Connersville; her brother, Chad (Jessica) Kropczynski of Peru, IN; and her step-siblings, Brett Firsich and Rebecca Fox of Connersville.
Additional family includes her aunts, Kitty (Martin) Neureuther of Buffalo and Barb (David) Pulley of Indianapolis; her uncle, Lance Pazzaglia of Sturgis, Kentucky; and her bonus aunt, Dixie Friend of Connersville.
Raychael leaves behind special friends Esther Salazar of Connersville and Jacqueline O’Keefe of Indianapolis, as well as her beloved “soul-pup,” Laney. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veterans’ organization of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation Society of Indiana.
