Marshall Hobson

Marshall E Hobson, 62, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away from this life Monday May 9, 2022, at his home after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Columbus, Indiana on November 11,1959 to Charles Hobson and Berniece Whittington Hobson. He was employed at Faurecia in Columbus, Indiana for several years. He is survived by his two daughters Marissa and Jennifer Hobson of Monrovia; The mother of his children Jeanie Wood of Monrovia; Siblings Rick Hobson of Columbus, Mary K Brusak of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Beverly Jackson of Charleston, South Carolina and Benita Barton of Poughkeepsie, New York and David Hobson of Columbus; Uncles Bob Whittington of Whiteland, Don Ward of Columbus, Jim (Helen) West, and Moe (Janet) West both of Nashville; Aunts Barb Thompson of Dade City, Florida and Wilma (Jonah) Shoop of Virginia. He had lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Larry Hobson; Grandparents Otto Whittington and Margaret Dobbs, Michael and Viola West; Uncles Phillip and Roger West and his Aunt Geneva Ward.

In keeping with Marshall’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Cremation Society of Indiana, 4115 Shelby Street.
