John Franklin Judd III, beloved husband, father, grandfather and servant of Christ, 76 of Brownsburg, IN, passed away suddenly on March 6, 2025.
He was born on June 5, 1948, to John F. Judd Jr (Frank) and Anna Marie Weese Judd in Charles Town, WV. After his youth on a farm in Hagerstown, MD, He was an outgoing thespian at Falls Church High in Virginia and went on to study business at Virginia Tech. He was a proud member of Alpha Squadron class of 1970 in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and leveraged his charisma in his career in sales.
He served his country as an awarded recruiter in the Army Reserves, and he served his community in the Masonic Lodge, the American Legion, Sertoma and Meals on Wheels. As his relationship with God matured with him through his life, his greatest passion was serving Christ through the many organizations, bible studies, small groups he belonged to. He would seek out any way to connect with others through Christ. He was driven to find ways to share his faith and passion for the Lord and touched countless lives at the churches to which he belonged, mission trips he went on and truly any time he felt he could bend someone’s ear long enough to witness for God.
He is survived by his wife and partner Linda, his first wife, Glenda and their son Scott and granddaughters Darcy, Mikayla and Shauna. John was also blessed with his children by marriage, Debbie, Todd, Abbie and Aaron and the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved. He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy of 35 years (d. 2015), his parents Frank and Anne, and his sister Saralyn.
