The family of James Phillip Roseman, of Plainfield, IN, is saddened to announce his passing on July 28th, 2024, at the age of 36 years. Jamie’s infectious smile and energy will be missed.
Jamie was born May 8th, 1988, and grew up in Plainfield, Indiana. As a young child, he could be found outside playing basketball, football, or in the creek at Nana’s house playing with his sister and cousins. Jamie was as unique as the bright and colorful shoes that he was always wearing. His sense of humor and his ability to make you laugh, even when you shouldn’t, made him special. Whether it was a funny accent that he wouldn’t stop, a specific rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock”, or some ridiculous face he would make at you when you tried to be as funny as him, he always kept us laughing.
Jamie’s heart was as big as his personality. He loved his family and his friends. From his ducks to his dogs, he loved all his pets as well. He was the type of person to show up to lend a helping hand, just so that he could spend time with you, no matter what you were doing. He loved being with people because that is when his personality could be at its best, and that also made you always want to be around Jamie.
Jamie is survived by his parents, Paula and Phil Roseman, his sister Stephanie Fansler (David Fansler), his nephew David III, his niece Brynlie, his grandparents Carol McGowan (Roy), as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday August 16th from 4pm to 7pm at the Plainfield Interurban Depot. 401 South Vine Street Plainfield, IN 46168.
