She is survived by her loving husband, Antonio Rodriguez; oldest son, Liam M. Rodriguez, middle daughter, Morgan E. Rodriguez, youngest son, Nathan A. Rodriguez; siblings, Bob Mallary, Diane Mallary, Rosanne Mallary and Tom Mallary. She is proceeded in death by parents, Robert, and Rose Mallary: siblings Billy Mallary, and Joyce Mallary.

Dorothy, like all moms, was creative, loving, supportive, fun and gave me 36 years of love, support, and friendship. So, Dorothy, my love, I will miss you and your children will miss you love. Rest well my love, your loving family.

To say you were a small part of my life would be an understatement.From the day we met in 8th grade, you were changing my life more then I would know at time. We made it through the high school years with many experiences,I got to make ur wedding cake the first i ever done ,introduced me to the love of my life for the next 36yrs.You showed love and kindness to everyone u encountered and will truly be missed by so many more then just your family that u leave behind. I pray for them,because now you are home.Til i encounter u again my friend.

my beautiful mom, you were my shining star, you always knew how to make me smile, how to make me laugh when i was upset, and you always made the best pancakes. i miss you so much, i miss calling you and telling you about the drama and making you listen to new music when it comes out. i will always be grateful to be your daughter, to have a mom like you, you were the best mom and you still are. words can’t describe the way you loved us, we miss you, the cats miss you a lot too. i love you dearly momma, forever<3.

morgan, dorothea’s daughter, has been one of my greatest friends for a short time now. my absolute best friend to say the least. when i was first able to meet dorothea she was the kindest person i have ever met. so welcoming, so generous, and such a sweet loving soul. someone who i knew i could come to and count on and felt so much like my own momma. so soft and loving to every single person she encounters and deserves the most that this world had to offer. it was such a pleasure having and knowing that you were by my side always. i will forever cherish the time i got to know you. rest easy momma dorothea <3
