David Allan Woods Sr.
David, formerly of Indianapolis, but recently a resident of Carthage, IN passed peacefully on Friday Apr. 11, 2025, while surrounded by loved ones and friends.
Dave retired in 1987 from Western Electric after thirty years spent between the Indianapolis, and Georgia. He loved life and traveling, which he was able to partake over the last few years of his life.
He is survived by his sister Mrs. Shelby A. Maynard. He is predeceased by his son David Jr. (Davey), his father Howard, mother Alice (nee Johnson), and younger brother James Thomas (Tommy).
Per David’s wishes, there will be no funeral, but there will be a small memorial for family and immediate friends at a later date.
