Darrell Gene Poe, Jr. -37 – of Indianapolis, IN has gone to be with our Lord on June 26, 2018-Born in Kingsport, TN on March 27, 1981. Darrell suffered from severe sleep apnea and passed on in his sleep. He was a graduate from Lincoln College of Technology to pursue his love for vehicles. His other passion as everyone knows was cooking. He went to work for Culvers and was passionate about his career there due to their quality of food and customer service. He loved people and to make them smile and laugh was his goal. He has also been known for his caring, loving and big hearted ways.
Survivors include his parents Tommy and Sherri Harmon, his brother David Harmon and his wife Miranda, two nephews, Noah and Charlie, his Brother Anthony Harmon, his wife Somer, niece Annora, his sister Julia Harmon, his grandmother Barbara Wortman-his many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends. Special thanks to his Uncle Shel and Aunt Lisa Wortman and Cousin Teaonnie LaPier Smith and family in Tennessee (though not related by blood were related by love) for whom he had a very special relationships with.
Darrell’s wishes are to be cremated and set free at Douglas Lake in Tennessee-we will be honoring those wishes-we thank the Vickers family for making his wishes a reality and showing their love during this time.
We will be having a private celebration of his life on Saturday, June 30, 2018 – we will then finalize plans for his final resting place.
