Connie was a proud mother to her daughters, Christian and Jessica, and a devoted grandmother to Brooklyn, Tyler Hornung Jr., and Donovan Martin. She was a loving and caring presence in their lives, and her memory will live on in their hearts.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, George Smith; daughters, Christian Smith (Tyler Hornung) and Jessica (Nicole) Garmon; grandchildren, Brooklyn Hornung, Tyler Hornung Jr., and Donovan Martin; and siblings Ricky (Vicky) Gunter, Joe (Laraine) Gunter, Bobby (Elaine) Gunter, Jim (AnnaLou) Gunter, and Rosie Puttoff.
