Barbara Lee (Carlstrom) Luckey was born on July 6, 1930, in Racine, Wisconsin and passed away on December 18, 2022, in Franklin, Indiana. She is survived by her five children, Jim Luckey, Betsy Alting (Roger), Susan Luckey, Karen Luckey and David Luckey (Rena), and her brother, John Carlstrom; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her identical twin sister, Beverly, and her granddaughter, Marissa McKee.

Barb enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, knitting, baking, traveling and entertaining. She especially loved children and taught nursery school at Friedens UCC before moving to Sparta, New Jersey where she earned her LPN. She then worked in Pediatrics at Newton Medical Center.

A memorial service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Friedens United Church of Christ 8300 S. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, with a visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00am.
