Alan Bradley Dickey (Brad), 50, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away peacefully, November 3, 2025, at 4:06pm at IU Health University, Indianapolis, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 9, 1975, to Alan N. and Therese Dickey.
He was a dedicated Christian from a young age. He was a member, a deacon and bible class teacher at the Jamestown Church of Christ. He married Crystal Canard April 13, 1999. They have 4 children, Alana, Maggie, Wyatt (Lillian), and Naarah Dickey.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal, their children, his mother, Therese, a sister, Sarah (Rex) Guyer, 5 nieces, 5 nephews, several great nieces and nephews and many friends and family that will miss him dearly. Also, his dogs Remus and Odie, who will also miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and many family members.
He graduated from Plainfield High school in 1993 and ITT in 1995. Later on, he also received a Commercial Applicator Certification from Purdue University in 1999. He was also a member of NRA since 2020. He drove a semi-truck for many years, working for several companies such as Ron Walker Trucking, Mid-States, Sodrel, and Extra Transportation. He also preached for the Wolf Creek church of Christ in Malta, OH for several years. Most recently he worked part time for The Green Gang. He always loved to drive. God was the most important thing to Brad with his family and his church family being second. He also enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and the Green Bay Packers football, collecting guns, and listening to all genres of music. Brad was a quiet man but loved telling jokes and making people laugh.
There will be a memorial service for Brad at Sugar Creek Art Center 127 South Pearl St., Thorntown, IN on Saturday November 8, 2025, at 11 am.
All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give in his name to the Kidney Foundation or to Midwest Summer Camp.
