Kenneth Sims

December 20, 1943 - June 29, 2020

Kenneth Jerry “Bugs” Sims passed away June 29, 2020 in Franklin, Indiana. Bugs was born to the late Kellus and Mary (Odell) Sims in Greenwood, Indiana.

Bugs was a truck driver for many years for Holland Trucking and Kissee Trucking. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to cheer on the Indianapolis Colts.

Bugs is survived by his two daughters, Dana Shepherd (David), and Kelly Sims (Jeff Goens), and the mother of his daughters, Bobbe Salter, four grandchildren: Andrew Shepherd, Bruce Shepherd, Christina Shepherd, and David Shepherd Jr. He is also survived by his siblings: Linda Turk, Gary “Pete” Sims, and Mary Sicking.

Bugs is preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Odell) Sims his father, Kellus Sims, a grandson, Jeremy Beeler, as well as his brothers, Garnet Sims and Jimmy Sims.

All services will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Indiana.
