Linda Carol Bonaventura

September 20, 1974 - April 13, 2020

Linda Carol (Garrett) Bonaventura, 45 of Indianapolis, passed away on April 13, 2020 as a result of Covid 19.

She was born in Indianapolis on September 20, 1974 to Kenneth and Dorothy Garrett.

Linda graduated from George Washington High School and earned her LPN degree from Ivy Tech.

In late 1999, Linda met her future husband Michael and she moved to Virginia in September of 2000.
She and Michael were married on November 14, 2002. Linda fulfilled her nursing passion for
the next 15 years, working at multiple facilities. In 2015, Linda and Michael moved back to Indianapolis
to be closer to family…She most recently worked at Wildwood Health Care Center on the East side.

Linda is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Garrett, her husband Michael, three sisters DebbieGarrett Farr, Alisa Bowens (Luther), Kim Garrett. one Brother, Kenneth Garrett II (Nicole). three Stepchildren, Brandon Bonaventura, Adam Bonaventura and Victoria Carter. Linda has many loving nieces and nephewsas well as greats nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by an stillborn infant sister.

There will be no services at this time but will be held at the convenience of the family.

Cremation Society of Indiana is serving the family.

Linda always had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss her very much. God bless the family she leaves behind.

I am deeply sorry for the tremendous loss of my beautiful cousin! She will truly be missed and her memory will live on with me and my family in the way that she comforted my mother, her aunt Eva! To her husband her mom her dad her brother and sisters and all of her nieces and nephews I love you all and continue to pray for you!

I will forever cherish my memories of Linda Garrett as that sweet little blond curly haired dancer. I grieve for her family and loved ones. The Garrett family is very special to my family. The world lost a beautiful soul but heaven gained an amazing angel.

I will greatly miss Linda’s sassiness and friendship. We had talked online as recently as the day she got her test results, and even discussed doing lunch when all the Covid stuff was done. My deepest condolences to Michael and the rest of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
