Wayne Leo King, 66, passed away on January 5, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on July 20, 1953 in Indianapolis. Wayne was an Army veteran having served during Vietnam as a transportation specialist in Germany. He worked at the Fort Harrison Commissary for over 40 years where he was well known as “Smiley”. He loved cars and motorcycles, music, animals and most of all spending time with his loved ones. He also enjoyed working in his garage, having fires, and especially loved telling stories of his life experiences. Wayne is survived by his wife Kathy, his 3 children; Shanan (Josh) Elkins, Jessica (Jake) King, and Justin King. 5 grandchildren; Destiny (Donald), Dairynn (Felix), Krishawn (Natalia), Samantha (Gabe), and Gavin, and 4 great grandchildren Kennedy, Krishawn Jr., Jayden, and Kairo. He left us to be reunited with his parents Charles and Mary King, as well as friends, other loved ones, and his fur babies.
