Donald Cathcart

Donald J. Cathcart, 63, of Trafalgar passed peacefully with Sandi, his wife of 45 years, by his side on Friday November 29, 2019.

He was born to Jim and Shirley Cathcart in Indianapolis, Indiana. Don was one of seven children. He married Sandi in Greenwood, Indiana in 1974. Together they had two children, Jesse (Jennifer) and Cistinna. Don was blessed with six grandchildren, Kieran Reed, Cory Cathcart, Kayitah Duvall, Jade Cathcart, Hollan Cathcart, and Kodiak Neville, with one great-granddaughter, Amira Reed.

Don was a member of the Johnson County Building Council, The Builders Association of Indianapolis, Homeowners Warranty Corporation, Indiana State Home Builders, and National Association of Home Builders. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and Central Nine Building Trades in 1974. He also attended Ohio Technical School. Don loved his family and fishing.

Don is survived by his sisters Debbie Craig and Deana Cathcart, and brother, Mike Cathcart. He was proceeded in death by his parents; his brothers, David and John Cathcart; and his sister, Lisa Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at German Park in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 14, 2019 from 2pm til 6pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Louisiana Center for the Blind at http://www.louisianacenter.org/
