Everett “Russ” Rogers of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully, free of pain and with his hand being held the whole time, on January 19, 2022. Russ enjoyed camping, tinkering in the garage, and working on cars. Everyone who knew Russ, loved him. He loved to make people laugh and told endless jokes. He helped raise several of his grandkids and was everyone’s “Dad” figure. He was always the one to go to for the best advice, even if it was tough advice. Russ owned his own body shop for over 30 years and was an over the road truck driver for over 20 years. Russ is survived by his wife Linda Rogers; three daughters; Donna Mitchell, Monika Combs and Teri Kelley. A son, Lawrence Combs as well as 20+ Grandchildren and 10+ Great-Grandchildren. Russ was preceded in death by two daughters; Dolly Rogers and Ruth Honeycutt-Blackburn, a son, Shane Combs and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Marie. The Cremation Society of Indiana, 4115 S. Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
