Lilly May Boughton-Trumble

May 3, 1939 - January 12, 2022

Lily May Boughton-Trumble of Thayer, Indiana passed away on January 12, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lily was born May 3rd,1939 in Phillipsburg, Kansas. A  daughter of the late Howard and Loretta Young Boughton. Lilly worked at the Indiana School of the Blind and Visually Impaired for over 20 years.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lilly is survived by her sister: Joy Boughton Addleman; her daughter: Sonja Nolte, her two sons: Ted Trumble and Ed Trumble Jr., as well as her granddaughter: Christina Bassett; a grandson: Jason Bassett, and numerous great-grandchildren. Her love for her family will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral services as her wish was to be cremated, and her ashes returned to her home in Kansas. The Cremation Society of Indiana, 4115 S. Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN. 46227 has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a student at the, then Indiana School for the Blind. Mrs Lilly Trumble (sp?) was quite, but as I got to know her some. She was nice. She used to help me cash my check from home so I could have money for the week at school to spend. Again, I am so sorry for your family’s loss.
