Angela Kay Harris, age 51, passed away peacefully in her home in Paragon, IN. She went Home surrounded by family on December 5th, 2021.
Angie has been preceded in death by her parents: James Calvin Harris & Kaye Elaine Harris (Scalf); sisters: Elaina Kay Harris & Debra Ann Sample (Harris), and grandson: Brantley James Harris.
She has two living daughters: Amy & Danielle; five grandchildren: Shanna, Weston, Chaslynn, Bella-Nicole and Dallas, and a brother named James S. Harris.
Angie grew up in Indianapolis, IN, liked BMX racing, music and spending time with friends and cousins. She attended Lamar University in Texas and worked as a teacher for infant- kindergarten, volunteered as a Sunday School teacher, and homeschooled her daughters. She was a very dedicated mother and such a strong woman. She’s a Melanoma and Thyroid Cancer Survivor; she fought Lung & Brain cancer for at least 3 years and always kept her positive outlook and faith strong. She will be forever missed by a lot of people. Her Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on December 16th at 2pm at her oldest daughter’s church, Highland Village Church. It is located at 515 S. Curry Pike in Bloomington, Indiana.
