David J. Sutton

David J. Sutton (80 years) went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 8, 1941, to John and Viola (Moore) Sutton.

He attended Ben Davis High School and later graduated from God’s Bible School with a degree in theology. He was married to Nina Keys of Willow Hill, Illinois on June 21, 1968. He retired from Stanley Works, formerly Best Lock, after many years as a dedicated machinist.

David enjoyed spending time with family, loved sharing the Lord with others, and attending his church at Southport Church of the Nazarene. He was never known to speak a word in anger, had kind remarks to all he met, and enjoyed sharing meals and fellowship with family and friends.

David is survived by his four children, Rachel Sutton, Jason Sutton, Kevin Sutton (Tiffany), Rebecca Sutton (Chris), and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina (Keys) Sutton.
