Alma Yvonne Harshey

Alma Yvonne Harshey, 93, of Avon died March 11, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born on March 19, 1927 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Irene (Childress) Spivey. She married Marshall Harshey in 1946. She was a member of the Eagle Valley Church of Christ where she enjoyed teaching Bible classes for young children. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Deborah Evans. She is survived by her sons Frank (Billie) Harshey of Avon and Curtis (Mary) Harshey of Greensboro, North Carolina, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A small service to honor Yvonne will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Manuelito Navajo Children’s Home in Gallup, New Mexico.
