Myra Lynn Carson

September 7, 1966 - February 18, 2021

We regret to announce the passing of Myra Carson, 54, of Indianapolis on February 18, 2021.

Myra was born on September 7th, 1966, to Charles and Janice Ward and grew up in Clayton, Ohio.

She met Michael Carson in 1982 while attending Northmont High School. They married in 1987 and had two children, Morgan and Fletcher, before relocating to Indianapolis.

Upon her death, Myra worked for Indianapolis Power and Light, where she was employed for almost 20 years.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Janice Ward; her sister, Lee Hendricks; and her children, Morgan and Fletcher Carson.

My heart is broken from the moment I was told of Myra's passing. To know her was to love her. In my 5 years sitting beside her at IPL, we had gotten pretty close.
