Carolyn Ann Edmonds

December 16, 1945 - November 17, 2020

Carolyn Ann (Barnard) Edmonds, 74, died with family by her side, on November 17, 2020, in Fishers, Indiana after an extended illness.  Carolyn was born December 16, 1945 in Muncie, IN to George and Joanne Barnard. 

She graduated from Central High School.  She was an educator for Medical Assistants across the state.

Carolyn was a wonderful mother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and her Red Hat Society Sisters of the Lafayette Golden Gems.   

She is survived by her children, Michele Edmonds-Blaas, Fishers, IN and Erik (Michelle) Edmonds, Kansas City, MO; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, George Barnard Jr, Newberry Park, CA; sisters, Bonnie (Kent) Shipley, Westfield, IN, and Joyce Barnard, Muncie IN; and several nieces and cousins.

A graveside service will be held during the spring at Beech Grove Cemetary with details to follow.
