Julian Taylor Duke (JT), 35, of Fishers and Noblesville, died Monday, October 12, 2020 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born February 21, 1985 in Indianapolis and was a lifelong area resident. Julian was a graduate of Carmel High School, attended Ivy Tech College, and later studied and became welding certified.
Julian enjoyed playing Carmel Dads Club sports and travel team soccer in his youth and high school years. He also enjoyed fishing and would happily make himself available to do so with a friend. Julian also loved his 11-year old daughter Aubrie very much.
Julian is survived by his parents Gary and Amy (Harris) Duke; his daughter, Aubrie Taylor Duke; his sister Emily Duke Dalton (Michael); a niece, Chloe Dalton; and a nephew, Miles Dalton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred Harris, Jerry and Betty (Harris) Bunnell and his paternal grandparents, Basil and Jean Duke, all of Carmel. Many friends and several aunts, uncles and cousins, all who will miss his infectious smile, also survive him.
Cremation Society of Indiana is handling funeral arrangements. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the safety of all, a gathering for a memorial service will not be held at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled hopefully in the near future when the end of COVID-19 can also be celebrated. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to: Education Fund, Aubrie Taylor Duke in memo line, and address and mail to Edward Jones, 11740 Brooks School Rd, Suite 400, Fishers, IN 46037-4657
