JoAnne Heenan

June 12, 1944 - October 10, 2020

It is with a very heavy heart that we share that JoAnne Heenan (76) of Mooresville, IN and formerly of Elburn IL, passed peacefully the early morning of Oct 10, 2020. She was a wonderful Mom, wife and sister that stayed strong and fought hard to stay with us. She will be missed by all. ❤️❤️❤️. JoAnne was born to the late Lawrence Paul and Dorothy (Sopko) Janotta in Blue Island, Illinois. She grew up in the Chicago neighborhood of Mount Greenwood, graduated from Mother of Sorrows High School and worked in the insurance industry for many years.

JoAnne enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and Florida. In her later years she loved to travel to West Baden Springs Hotel. She loved to try new recipes, research genealogy, and spend time with her family and granddogs.

JoAnne is survived by her husband, John Heenan, daughters, Christine Heenan and Cynthia Zajac (Joseph) as well as sisters, Patricia Sieck (Gunter), Vicki Bromberek (Dennis) and sister-in-law, Sister Mary Kay Heenan.

JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents.
